Puppy Thrown Against Car Treats His New Mom With Kisses

A mom and a daughter from Pueblo, Colorado, ran out of gas one day and parked their car on the side of the road. As they were inside, chatting, a loud bang scared the hell out of them. Soon, they discovered that a man high on meth threw his puppy against their car.

The poor animal hit the roof of the vehicle before it slid down and ran on the street trying to save itself.

The woman rushed out of her car to check on the tiny Lab mix as she knew the open road wasn’t a save place for such fragile animal that could be injured by the fall.

After a couple of minutes, the woman spotted the Lab hiding behind a car tire. She alerted the authorities, and very soon, police officers arrived at the scene. However, getting the terrified pup wasn’t an easy task. But thanks to the quick thinking of officer Keegan Verduga who used some yummy food, the Lab was at a safe place.

The man who threw the puppy didn’t get off the hook and was charged with animal cruelty, and the cute pup was brought to the Humane Society of Pikes Peak Region and given the name Bob.

There, Bob got to show his vibrant personality and his affection for humans.

The shelter felt like they had to share Bob’s story with the public, not knowing it would make people fight for his love. This is what they said:

“The incident hasn’t seemed to make him fearful… His little tail waggles with joy every time a human approaches his kennel. He is sweet, outgoing and as loving as can be!”

Not wanting to leave him alone at the shelter for Christmas, the staff placed Bob with a foster family, and on December 27th, he found his forever home with his new human mommy.

A lot of people were interested in adopting Bob, but Beth Sisneros was the luckiest of them as she won the drawing for Bob whom she renamed Buddy Jr.

The moment she took him in her arms, Buddy Jr. gave his mom a bunch of sweet ‘thank you’ kisses and that really melted our hearts.
